When abundant life and fulfilling relationships seem out of reach
Christian-centered therapy for men, women, couples and teens experiencing restlessness, overwhelm, or disappointment in their relationships with self, God, or others
Is something not working quite right in your relationship with self, God, or others?
It wasn’t meant to be this way; and you certainly weren’t meant to figure it out alone.
Hi! I’m Bethany LeMieux, a Licensed Professional Counselor in Waukesha, WI. Since 2012, I have helped men, women, couples, and teens heal the hurts that bind and restore peace in themselves and their relationships.
About Our Provider
-
I am thankful for the robust psychological training I have received that has enhanced the work God has called me to do. It provides strategies that compliment and work in concert with my faith to be a helper to others. I graduated with a Masters in Counseling from UW-Whitewater in 2012, which is a CACREP accredited program. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Wisconsin (#7253-125).

I am curious and always exploring something new! I have received continuing education in treatment modalities and areas such as: Complex Trauma Treatment, Somatic Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Self-Criticism and Shame Resolution, Affair Recovery, Betrayal Trauma, Written Exposure Therapy for Trauma, and Forgiveness. I am also a certified Prepare and Enrich Facilitator.

I am a wife to my college sweetheart and a mother to 3 teen/tween-age children. If I’m not at work or with my family, you could find me at my bootcamp-style gym, on a walk with a friend, or listening to a podcast while cleaning my house!
Christian-Centered Counseling
My Christian beliefs are like ‘the prescription in the glasses I wear’ to see and understand everything I encounter.
Psychology rightly assumes that people matter, life can be hard, and that we can have hope for change; but it can’t tell you why. For me, the biblical story arc of creation, fall, redemption, and ultimate restoration creates the foundation for my therapy practices.
Christian principles that guide my work…
“… like a female Mr. Rogers”
A client once told me that time with me was like meeting with a ‘female Mr. Rogers!’ I found that hilarious (because I do change into comfier sweaters and shoes when I get home) and humbling to be given such a wonderful comparison. Mr. Rogers absolutely embodied the presence of Jesus I wish to emulate: He treated everyone as inherently worthy and securely loved. His calm, gentle warmth and attentiveness made people feel seen, safe, and valued. You will always receive my delight and undivided attention. “I have always wanted to have a client just like you!”
I am here for you.
